At DKM Industrial we supply reliable and cost effective GRP Barrel Floats for valve manufacturing companies across South Africa. We fabricate our floats from GRP/Fibreglass and mild steel. Each unit is coated with a black pigment that contains a UV inhibitor to protect it from the sun as most of the floats are outside and exposed to the elements.
Our GRP Barrel Floats are connected to a specific type of valve to make a complete product called an Equilibrium Float Valve, the equilibrium float valve is then connected/fitted to a tank to control it’s liquid level. Our floats come in three different sizes:
- Small (300mm x 300mm),
- Medium (350mm x 350mm)
- Large (500mm x 400mm).
We are also able to customize these floats to our clients exact specifications and site requirements. Please note that we only manufacture the GRP Barrel Float and not the valve.
