GRP Shaft Shells are predominately used in the mining industry. The unit is used to house pipes that transport hot steam from inside the plant up and out the roof, similar to the functionality of a chimney. The GRP Shaft Shell is fabricated from flame retardant resin to prevent the unit from catching a flame. The unit is extremely strong and can be exposed to high levels of heat for a long period of time.
